PRICKLY PEAR PRODUCTIONS

Tifkiriet is a theatrical experience which incorporates promenade theatre and verbatim theatre qualities. The concept behind the show is to involve the older citizens of Valletta, Malta and to bring their memories and stories to the forefront through recorded interviews and verbatim theatre.

 

A few weeks prior to the show the creative team will be in contact with a few Valletta residents and they will be interviewed specifically about their most cherished memories living in Valletta. A photo of these citizens will also be taken at the time of the interview.

This promenade piece works with an amenable formula that allows it to be carried out in any town and context.
